"Great safe location. Room was very nice, clean. When you walk into hotel the lobby always had strong terrible inscense smell.Very bad for any one with allergies. It smelled awful in lobby. Our room happen to be on lobby level. On way to room the hallways smelled of chinese food maybe because the kitchen was on that level. The room was nice and very clean. A great stay except for the smells outside the room. Also we choose one day to have the breakfast there. It was overpriced we thought and also...

"Really nice, old converted townhouses. Rooms were large and well appointed. Staff were excellent and friendly. Location was the best. Off the main streets, so very quiet, yet within a 5 to 8 minute walk of PADDINGTON or Bayswater Circle Line. Little kitchenette was very useful and saved us a lot of money on expensive British dining."

"The room was “clean” but there were stains on the seats as well as the rugs. And the bathroom walls there were just dirt around. Needs some tlc. Also breakfast was left to be desired. And they wouldn’t call taxi for me? I stayed at thistle in Piccadilly and they helped me with that and had it setup the next morning. I’ve never been in London so it was helpful. I stayed here and Paris and then earlier in trip the other thistle. "

"Was looking for a property outside congestion zone with parking and close to public transportation. 2 tube stations within 10 minutes. Bus and hop on and off right outside door. Decent restaurants nearby. Lovely outside patio to enjoy a drink or have breakfast. Room was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not a 5 star but almost a 4. "

"We loved our stay at the London House. Our room had plenty of space for a couple and great light, with a window overlooking the park. We loved the neighborhood, which was quiet with plenty of walkable spots to grab coffee and breakfast and easy access to two underground stops."
