"The lady on Reception was lovely. The only issue we had was we were located on the top floor (7th floor) with two suitcases each and Concierge was on a break. Room was very quiet and clean, with Molton Brown toiletries. Comfortable bed. There was only one fire escape which was down the main staircase, hence a no-smoking hotel. Good location for Paddington station/Heathrow Express, just a few minutes walk. No amenities but bakery/restaurants/coffee shops within easy distance. "

The amenities are sufficient, however, feel that the staff ie. breakfast/cleaning crew felt like they were rushed and sometimes communication was difficult. Is it possible they are trying to do too much? Clean the rooms and take care of breakfast? I feel like more staffing would help. The check-in also was not an easy process."
