"I liked the location."

"Spoke to Lodge beforehand as we were turnng up very late. All very accomodating. Bed felt as though it was sloping down and my husband felt he was about to fall off when turning over. Other than that the room wasvery comfortable and certaiyvadequate for what we were after. Breakfast is basic cereals, coffee, tea and toast available on a DIY basis in guest kitchen lounge area. Although Wee Bear Cafe is available for foid etc after 1000, which is after check out at 0930. "

"The location was fantastic with great views of the ocean and it was a quick walk into town. Pam was a great host and very helpful and her breakfast menu was varied and tasty with lots of options. The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. The only slight negative was the size of the room..a little small for our luggage but we managed. Apart from that I would highly recommend it for a stay at...

"Convenient and easy to get to. Clean and spacious room. We stayed in 11 which was so close to the car park and only had a few steps. Comfortable room, hot showers, nice big bed, delicious breakfast - try the whiskey porridge! We ate all our lunches and diners at The Auld Smiddy Inn and wish we couldn’t stayed longer!"
