"A brilliant stay - great little hostal in excellent condition and very welcoming and helpful hosts. The main guy spent 30mins on arrival detailing on a map where things were, tips on how to get to places, advice on viewing the Alhambra (which we'd pre-booked), and great restaurant and bar tips. "All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you to Jose for sorting out our ski pass and Victor for kitting us out. Can hire full ski equipment on site, easy to manage and good price. Would recommend trying to get a pass to take the parador up to the hostel, as it's quite a trek from the bus station if you're dragging a suitcase. Room was perfect and excellent value. Although i was less bothered because price wasn't the most expensive and i only come back to sleep, the hotel is very noisy and dirty and rooms are in a rough shape, the daily cleaning is not bad, but the base state of the hotel is very bad : - you can hear everything, other guests coming and going, people going up/down stairs, zero sonor isolation... - Dirty walls and cracked ceiling, - veery small and moldy shower. - very old furniture "

"The hotel is in a hill, very high, the view was really impressive and we made a lot of beautiful pictures. The hill is named "El barranco del Abogado" ("The Lawyer's Ravine"). We had to walk down the hill to go anywhere. Later on, returning by taxi, that is very cheap in Spain. Breakfast there is excellent and affordable. The hotel is near to "La Alhambra" and there is also near the stop of the Touristic Bus (Hop-on Hop-off). A good place to stay in."
