"The wall color of the apartment was a bit wild 😊 (acid green) other than that the apartment was really well equipped, including the coffee machine, dishwasher and refrigerator. Overall, nice accommodation. You need a car to move around, its located in a small village. "

"My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the J-Max apartment. It is in a good, quiet location away from the main road but still an easily walkable distance to Lake Bled (around 10-15 mins walk), a large Mercator supermarket, and all the general restaurants and shops you could need. This apartment had a small kitchen which we found handy to prep food. It is a basic clean space with no frills and was fine for us. "Fantastic stay. Charming inn and restaurant in the woods alongside a running stream. Great service. We had to leave before breakfast started so the head waiter left a wonderful packed lunch for us at our door as a substitute. Great dinner at very reasonable prices as well. Authentic Slovenian place. Local people were celebrating a friend’s birthday the night we ate dinner. Lots of Slovenian songs and laughter. Very cool vibe."

"We stayed for three nights in early summer and had a great time. The apartment was well located just a couple of minutes walk from Bovec town centre, with a great view from the garden. It was well appointed with plenty of cooking facilities and the bed was extremely comfortable. Reception were friendly and helpful, would be good if they were open for longer hours but this is typical of apartment complexes of this type so not a big issue. Thoroughly recommended! "

"It is a very dated but well-run hostel. It was clean enough but generally very old buildings. It has the clear distinction of being about 20 meters from the lake with incredible views from the balcony and cafeteria. That makes it worth the price. You wont be wowed by the decor but the service is great and the location is unbeatable. "
