Found a cockroach dead in the bathroom and highlighted it to the staff but nothing was done about it despite them saying it will be sorted which was very disappointing. "If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. The room was clean and I loved the lighting options which maybe sounds silly but after a long day it helped to wind down. Every staff I encountered was kind and helpful. The international plug was a nice surprise. Steps away are some food options and a convenience store. The property was close to the airport and away from the high traffic areas which is my preference during a vacation. "

"Clean nicely maintained room with the most comfortable bed I have had in Asia. Staff is awesome and super friendly. The pool is very nice and large enough to acomodate the guests comfortably. The only drawback to the hotel and it’s not their fault, is that it is about a 15 minute walk to shopping. That being said 15 min. Walk or 15 ringgit grab cab that is there in a few minutes and you are on your way. "
