"The hotel is beautiful, our room was right outside the pool and beach. Sea sargassum is a big problem in summer months, if they would have cleaned a little bit, the beach is beautiful. Staff is friendly, restaurant on site is very convenient. Highly recommended this budget friendly hotel."

"Loved our stay at Piedra Escondida. It is a small boutique style hotel and very quiet and relaxing during our stay. The room was always cleaned to a high standard as were the communal areas. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is right on the beach with wonderful views. It is also close to local bars and restaurants."

"Clean, good Wi-Fi and good location. Beach was nice but couldn’t swim because seaweed issue on the entire coast. Best to do a day pass to use pool somewhere or go to a Cenote if you want to swim."

"We were greeted the very first step onto the property! The owner checked us in and treated us to a room upgrade. We were in room 8 which was a second story room & had a lovely outdoor sitting area with a view of both the pool and ocean. Our room had a king bed, AC, mini fridge, kettle & coffee maker. Our safe didn’t work so we just kept things with us while we went out unfortunately. We ate dinner once in the restaurant which was delicious. We had a fabulous time at the resort. We were under the impression breakfast was included with our reservation bad sadly was not. I think including a breakfast would be a great addition. Location of the resort was good for walking to a few restaurants(not a ton in the immediate area), 7/11 convenience store, bike/scooter rentals. Hotel is directly on the beach & made for perfect Sunrise views! We walked into Tulum town and another day rented bicycles which we’d do both again! Really cute place overall, was very quaint, clean and all staff were pleasant friendly and helpful!"
