"What I loved was the proximity to the beach and that the architectural design reflects St. Augustine and its Spanish heritage. The grounds were attractive and well-manicured. The day staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, while the night staff was professional in a quiet way. We liked the free availability of the 2-item small and light plus juice breakfast- the freshly baked blueberry scone was tasty! There are a couple of washers/dryers for a fee, very helpful when you are driving for days. The room had a slight odor covered over with bleach, perhaps from something a previous guest put in a microwave. The showerhead is older and the tub felt weirdly plastic. However, all in all, we loved the place and would return again if down in this area!"

"Great value for the price. Very clean, nice hot water and water pressure for an awesome shower after the beach We weren't big fans of the indoor pool. But the other folks seemed to enjoy it. "
