Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless. "Our stay was amazing! Hosts Claire and Steve were fantastic, friendly, cooked a plentiful, scrumptious breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble! They had a wealth of local knowledge which was very handy. Our room was extremely clean, and our bed was very comfy! We were recently married and our hosts left a beautiful bottle of red wine and a card in our room which was so thoughtful:) we will definitely be staying at The Clifton on Paignton when in England next."

"We are just coming back from a lovely long weekend there and were very well looked after, spoiled even. A lovely charming accommodation with great hosts in a walking distance to the harbour and all the main amenities. "A perfect overnight stay at a beautiful historic property. Our large room was very comfortable, including the softest sheets. Lounge with open fire to relax in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade granola and local produce perfectly cooked. The drive from the main road was longer and windier than we expected and if we are able to make a return visit we will try and arrive in daylight. Also a short walk from the car park to the front drive for anyone with mobility problems. "

"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean and nice ensuite shower room. Aaron tells me that he is planning to offer fishing trips next year for guests. A most enjoyable...
