"We had a nice clean and spacious room with nice decor. We liked the big photo on the wall above the bed. The view was nice and the restaurant downstairs was really good. We appreciated the happy hour drinks and the menu choices. Parking was not on site but the staff were helpful in telling us where we could park for free."

Beauty Point Waterfront Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"It's a separate building to the beautiful pub down the hill so I didn't realize it was all part of the same place. Considering we were on the main road, which is not very busy, it was lovely and quiet. The room was great - the only thing we didn't have was a microwave. The view of Bell Bay and the port were just lovely even in rain."

"We were in the two bedroom unit on the upper floor. It was a modern spacious unit with full kitchen and all amenities. Both bedrooms were ensuite and beds were very comfortable. There was a balcony overlooking the harbour. The restaurant was downstairs with a great variety of food on offer and the staff there couldnโ€™t have been more helpful. This was a great place to stay and I can certainly recommend it."

Formby Hotel

Formby Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at the Formby. It was good value for the price. The room was clean and spacious, the parking convenient. The staff were friendly. Only one complaint was the shower which kept on going hot and cold. There is a washing machine which is great, even better would be the addition of a dryer. The downstairs bar had a great vibe and the restaurant was so popular it was booked out, which must be a sign it's good. We plan to stay again next time we are in Devonport."
