"Quiet area, nice owners and bar staff. A nice rustic countryside feel. Some wear and tear around the property and in the basic bedroom, could use some love (springy mattress). Not any shops nearby but plenty of pubs. Water in the room would have been good. "
"A lovely place with a beautiful garden to the rear. Easy to find and very quaint. My colleague and i ate in the restaurant and the food was great.
Highly recommend if staying in the area"

"All ok except had to park on doule yellow lines as car parks full. No plug or means of water leaving sink in bathroom! Very impressed as regards value for money."
"Overall wonderful experience, all staff I encountered were courteous and helpful. Room was clean and fresh, bed comfortable and all linens smelled delightful! Located on a bus route, easy walk into town Centre, various shops/eateries a few minutes walk away from hotel. I will definitely stay there again. "
"Staff very welcoming and bar staff very knowledgeable and pleasant.Bar meal on Friday evening was ok,had to ask a couple of times for the correct order.Breakfast was again ok,hot selection needs attention, maybe batch cooking rather than huge amounts cooked at one time?Due to family priorities didn’t use the spa unfortunately "
