"Really lovely family run pub, Simon and Amy are wonderful nothing is too much trouble. This is the first place my husband who has numerous allergies has been where he has had actual options. The food is all excellent and we know we pretty much ate our way through the entire menu. Our dogs were made welcome and we had a lovely stay. "

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"Guest house is easily reached by car from LHR, located across from Maidenhead Rowing Club in iconic Thames valley setting. Bed and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts were delightful."

"Newly renovated and very up to date. Breakfast perfect choices. Bit daunting by self check in but no issues. Only downsides were the walk from The Ridgeway down a busy road (hotel can’t help that!), and that there was no food in the evening (but crockery provided if takeaway ordered ( leaflets provided))."

"We were greeted warmly and in a very friendly way. Jay was engaging and was genuinely interested in what the children had to say about our trip. The room was clean and just right for us. Crossing the road in the morning for breakfast was a novelty rather than an inconvenience and, with the crossing right outside, very safe. The ladies making breakfast were lovely and friendly. "Service was very good, I was welcomed by the owner and made to feel welcome. I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. Only stayed for one night but they left a good...

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"Initially when I came in with my family and I needed to wait, it was given me a negative view but immediately the issue was resolved I was fine and by the time we got in, its was almost perfect just the way I wanted it."

"I loke the fact I have the compound to myself, the rooms are ok for me and my family, but the internet signal around the building needs to be fix, the smoke detector was removed which is against safety which I complained but was not fixed till I left, except all that, it's generally satisfactory. Thank you... will surely recommend the property for family"
