"Beautiful location, nice staff "

"Pine Cottage was a short walk away from the busy downtown area, up a quiet side street. The innkeepers, Caroline and Rose were delightful. They were genuinely happy to have us as guests, very responsive and helpful. Hot breakfast was delicious, provided buffet style. Our room was small, but very adequate. The bed, linens, pillow were all very comfortable. The shared bathroom was very clean and well-stocked. Highly recommend. We will be back!"

"Love the hotel however it is in serious need of upgrading to be in line with the price per night. Bathrooms are not accommodating and the set up just needs serious updating/ remodeling. 1852 restaurant is wonderful with great food and service."

"Property was right on main street which is very convenient to restaurants and shops and ferry terminals . This also makes the area busy though so if you like very quiet I would choose an area to stay away from the crowds on main street instead . The room was very nice and staff was amazing . Spa / pool was not working properly so we didnt get to use it which was a disappointment for us . I would suggest calling ahead when making reservations to confirm it is working if this is a major thing for you but the private sun deck is a nice getaway. "
