Lovely hotel well located
What a beautiful hotel and what lovely staff. Location was as described. Secure car parking for motorcycles. Excellent breakfast. Tea and coffee 24hours in the lobby. Very helpful attitude of everyone. Cleaners, receptionists, maintenance, etc.

Nothing fancy but great place to stay.
A nice conveniently located hotel in downtown Mechenheim with a good restaurant nearby. Have stayed on several occasions. Breakfast is also fairly nice.

A hidden gem...
We chose Meckenheim as an alternative to Bonn (where we needed to be for an event) and we were so glad that we did! Considering how close it is to Bonn, it is a completely different world! It is quiet and beautiful and everyone is so friendly! A word of caution, very few people could speak English, so it is not like a lot of places. But for us that was even better as we were forced to use German! We will certainly go back to Meckenheim and to the City Hotel!

Overall it was nice. But there is a lack of night life in the region. Lack of variety of food in restaurants.

We needed a simple, comfortable overnight with dinner on hand, wifi and breakfast plus simple comforts. This hotel provided all these, plus we valued the actions of the very kind receptionist who on greeting two late, tired people moved us to a room close by rather than putting us in the original room across the road. Breakfast was generous and delicious, perfect before a long drive.

Clean budget hotel 25 mins from Bonn main station
Budget hotel 10 mins walk from local train station, Meckenheim, with direct links to Bonn main station, approx 25 mins. For business travellers it is not bad for the price, and even has a pool.

Pleasant hotel with some spa facilities
We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a conference which we could walk to from the hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a little attention. There were a few broken tiles around the bath tub. The use of a sauna and a very small pool were welcome as we had travelled far. The on-sight restaurant was a let down. The staff were friendly but it seemed as though most guests preferred to eat at other locations. The choice and quality of food was basic.

Premium Doppelzimmer im Four Star by City Hotel
Premium Doppelzimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet. Alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Der Komfort war ebenfalls super und wurde durch ein gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück abgerundet.

Ottimo servizio di pulizia e prima colazione ottima e varia. Stanza confortevole con macchinetta del caffè a disposizione. Migliorerei la ricezione televisiva con canali internazionali e ridurrei il costo del parcheggio per i clienti della struttura.

Wir kamen vor der Check in Zeit dort an und durften unser Zimmer schon vorzeitig belegen. Der 1. Eindruck: Es war recht dunkel im Flur, die dunkle Wandfarbe und die spärliche Beleuchtung machten dies aus. Das Zimmer war geräumig, wir hatten zusätzlich einen Kühlschrank und eine Kapselmaschine. Tageslicht kam nur über eine Art Balkontür hinein. In den Betten konnten wir gut schlafen, von der vorbei führenden Hauptstraße haben wir wenig gehört. Das Bad ist groß genug, die Ausstattung etwas älter. Duschen ist nur in der Wanne möglich. Nicht nachhaltig waren die Plastikbecher in Plastik eingepackt als Mundgläser. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Das Personal immer sehr freundlich.. Wir würden nochmal wieder kommen

Absolut renovierubgsbedürftig
Wir waren eine Nacht in dem Hotel auf der Durchreise. Der hier aufgerufenen Preis von 109€ grämst bei dem Zimmer das wir hatten (119) an eine absolute Frechheit. Das Zimmer erinnert an die 80er Jahre und die Matratzen stammen vermutlich auch genau aus der Zeit, diese waren absolut durchgelegen was eine schreckliche Nacht zur Folge hatte. Das Zimmer selber ist auch ziemlich runtergekommen was an vielen Stellen deutlich zu sehen ist. Im Badezimmer ist es sehr eng und die Dusche leider, aufgrund der billigen Türen, undicht. Das Frühstück war vergleichbar mit einer Jugendherberge und auf leider das billigste reduzierte. Beim auschecken mussten wir dann noch 5€ zusätzlich fur das Parken auf dem Hotelhof bezahlen, das steht leider nirgendwo ersichtlich und da es keine Alternativen in der Gegend gibt ist auch das eine ziemliche Frechheit. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel keinen empfehlen der ein bisschen Komfort haben will.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich hatte Probleme mit dem warm Wasser. Kurz morgens bei der Rezeption angerufen sofort wurde mir ein neues Zimmer angeboten und durfte es gleich beziehen :-) Das Frühstück war sehr lecker alles frisch und für jeden Gaumen war was dabei. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Hotel ist für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Preis-Leistung ist auch ok. Das Zimmer war geräumig und groß, leider ohne Minibar. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und ausreichend. Leider war die Dusche kaputt. Am Verbindungsstück Schlauch/ Brause kam mehr Wasser raus als aus dem Duschkopfs- das geht leider gar nicht. Hierfür wurde sich entschuldigt.

Frühstück hat sich drastisch geändert. Früher im „ alten“, vor Corona, war das Frühstück klein aber sehr fein. Jetzt: Brötchen zu lang im Ofen. Kaum Gemüse. Chili auf die Käse. Virle leere Schalen stehen und alles krümmelich. Nicht zu vergleichen wie früher, da nutzt kein Umbau . Schade

Mooie kamer lekker bed met de badkamer erbij doordat we contact hadden opgenomen met de receptie konden we midden in de nacht bij onzo kamer doormiddel van een nacht systeem.ontbijt was prima verzorgt enkel een beetje simpel en de badkamer een beetje krap maar dat heeft het verblijf niet verpest.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Allerdings kann man zu dem Preis dafür nicht meckern. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer überwiegend sauber. Toll, dass eine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer war, aber dafür kein Fön! Das Frühstück ist nicht empfehlenswert. Die Brötchen waren gummiartig bis hart, welliger Aufschnitt und solide Auswahl.

Super hôtel !
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette hôtel, qui est très très bien : jolie, cosy, propre avec un petit déjeuner au top ! Nous étions a 25min de l’aéroport (que de l’autoroute jusqu’à hôtel qui est en plein milieu d’un petit village), pas loin et facile d’accès. Je recommande vivement ! Prochain voyage nous reprendrons cette hôtel. Les employés sont super gentilles.
