"Wrest Point meets quality standards typical of casino hotels in many major cities around the world. It provides not only clean and modern accommodation but also affordable dining and responsible gaming options for guests and walk-in customers. We booked two-nights stay in a deluxe harbour-view room that was well appointed near the lift on the twelfth floor of the hotel tower. While the room size is quite small for two adult guests, the view of the Tasman Bridge and the Derwent River from our room was spectacular and uninterrupted. A hotel room in the main tower can cost approximately $280-$300 a night. However, this iconic property offers other affordable options such as the adjacent and newly refurbished Water Edge and Motor Inn accommodation catering to travellers on a tight budget. We were able to recover some of our accommodation cost by saving money on food with the hotelโ€™s complimentary buffet breakfast and food vouchers and discounts redeemable if you are of legal age to sign up for membership in the hotel casinoโ€™s rewards program. As an added bonus, the indoor pool, spa and sauna were not crowded and easily accessible. Overall, we had a ball staying in this hotel!"

"Wow is the first word that came out of our mouths when we unlatched the door to our apartment room. This property can be accurately classified as a luxurious five-stat aparthotel. Amenities and facilities tick all the top rating boxes. We booked an executive spa apartment for two nights that provided us with all the comfort and luxury of a well-appointed room in the heart of Hobart. We were in walkable distance to Constitution Dock, Queens Domain and Salamanca Market. The room we paid for was worth every dollar. It was exceptionally clean, spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private jetted tub. We recovered much of our accommodation cost cooking our meals and doing our laundry in the convenience of our room. If smart travel is your thing, this property is a perfect choice!"

"Our stay here was perfect. Great location within 10 min walk to anywhere in Hobart CBD. Great food choices right across the road and nearby. Great bar and seating downstairs to enjoy the view of the pier. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff very good. The entire hotel was so clean and lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again."

"Central location. Nice spacious room with lovely big window letting in lots of natural light. Clean & comfortable room. Bed was comfy, I slept well. My only negative comment is that I was allocated a room with an accessible bathroom/wet room (not requested or required!), I could not stand up straight in the shower to wash my hair as the shower head was too low, and the whole floor was very wet after showering as it was a poorly designed wet room. Really enjoyed my stay here & would recommend."
