Marriott Cancun hotel experience
I wanted to surprise my wife with an incredible experience, found out on the internet add that said recently opened march 2024 so great a new hotel recently remodeled, at no point they said anything about construction.
We arrived beautiful lobby, they said it was all inclusive, we wanted to eat they mentioned they had Japanese restaurant hibachi and sushi, I was starving and said I wanted sushi, they told us that was closed indefinitely the sushi , and hibachi was opened but said no more reservations was full and needed 1 day in advance , we walked by and only 3 tables of people, I told my wife in Spanish complaining of the bad service and a waiter told us they were empty that we could come in when in reception they told us no
Room was super nice but smelled like paint and glue we got dicy we had a nice view when I opened balcony could see gazebo close to water and construction workers laying in floor like sleeping that was my view, next morning around 7/7:30 am I could her noises, hitting hammers, guys laughing, my door shaking like someone trying to open, so I got out tons of construction workers in halls, all adjacent rooms opened guys painting, hammering, chatting, look very bad went down to the buffet
I go to Cancun and playa all the time this time I paid almost $700 a night expected an amazing buffet, all restaurants when I go have this incredible tables with tons of exotic fruits and food, smoked salmon, prosciutto my surplice was that
