This place is heaven. William has made this a slice of paradise in every way, from the details of the amenities with luxurious finishes, to his amazing cooking, and overall being an excellent host. We left our last night in Cape Town open and while traveling were told about this property by another couple. They were oozing about how wonderful this place was. We were able to book and were not disappointed. We only stayed for one night, but we will be back for an extended trip. This place cannot be described with only words. It's just magnificent.

Absolutely delightful stay with William in his beautiful home. His attention to detail and enthusiasm is second to none
Breakfast platter - also delicious fruit salad, granola and yogurt then croissant, bread and selection of home made jams. Scrummy!

Everything about this property was beautiful and romantic. The views are stunning. The property is beautifully maintained. The staff think of every detail and THE FOOD! The included breakfast is delicious. If you have a chance to have William cook, take it! It will be fantastic. We haven’t stopped talking about this place since we left.

This is an excellent boutique hotel one can find in Simon's Town. Especially, if you're visiting Cape Point, this is the place to stay. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and their breakfast is unforgettable. Moreover, the pool on the terrace and the view are priceless. I should also add that William and Janine are great hosts, attentive to every detail and very helpful. Thank you both!

Not sure where to begin with this one, it is such a great experience in so many ways, but will start with the owner William as he is so central to everything. He is passionate about every detail and you see and feel that in every aspect, the decor, the food, the staff, the way the place runs. You can look at the photos and they show just how stunning the location, the rooms, the pool etc are. We stayed in the Queen room, and although it did not have the views of the other rooms, it was a delight to stay in, the little private courtyard you have at the back gets the afternoon sun and is sheltered so is lovely to sit outside with tea. The breakfasts are fantastic and an experience in themselves, home made granola and jams being just two of the highlights. William (or rather the stunningly pretty Primrose under Williams guidance) cooked for us on my wife's birthday, and it was just divine. Their G&T's are to die for too, beautifully made with a sprig of thyme and a long twist of orange peel. Janine the manager was just brilliant in helping me with mislaid keys and a driving license, managing to re-unite me with both before the end of our stay. So many reasons to stay here, the penguins a short walk down the hill (no need to pay to go along the boardwalks), the stunning drive out to Cape Point, the amazing food and great hospitality, and the enigmatic, charming and wonderful character that is William.

An absolutely amazing, world-class guest house! Imagine a villa set on a hillside, with sweeping unobstructed views of False Bay near Cape Town with impeccable service and incredible food.....and you have only hit the tip of the iceberg of this property. William is the consummate host, (as well as his incredible staff!) where you are instantly at ease and cared-for in provincial, European style. I will most definitely write more in a Trip Advisor post so that more people will be exposed to this ‘expectation exceeding’ experience. Do not pass this by, and if you stay here - do not bother to look for outside restaurants, William is a world-class chef with an outstanding selection of local wines. Truly Excellent!!

STUNNING residence & perfect for Boulders Beach
Beautiful decor, rooms were spacious and very clean with double sinks in the bathroom and lovely shower products. Views from the infinity pool were incredible. Balcony immediately outside the bedroom (from which you can see the sunrise whilst lying in bed) with plenty of seating. Delicious breakfast and all home made products: granola, croissants, meats & cheese. Hosts were so friendly and accommodating making you feel at home and comfortable and shared tips on the area. Less than 5 min drive to Boulders Beach or a 20 min walk along the boardwalk to see the penguins on the beach. Would definitely come back here and highly recommend.

Exceeding all expectations
From the first moment at welcome to an emotional farewell after a week we felt like part of the William’s Family. We couldn’t wish more from this gorgeous place - from the breathtaking location on the hill with the spectacular view over False Bay to the uniquely decorated rooms, the infinity-pool and last but not least - the delicious breakfasts and dinners - everything made with love from scratch. Janine, William, Florence and the other members of the ”family”, you all made us really feel at home. We have travelled a lot, but never experienced such a fantastic hostess ship and a guest house offering nothing but the best. If you plan to go to Simon’s Town, you can’t miss this heavenly place or Williams gourmet dinners. We can strongly recommend this guest house

Een top accommodatie! William en zijn personeel doen hun best om het zo thuis mogelijk voor je te maken. Mooie, ruime, nette kamers, heerlijk zwembad, nogmaals een geweldige service! Een ontbijt waar je u tegen zegt! En van woensdag tot zondag serveren ze ook diner, wat een absolute aanrader is!

Tout était parfait ! Rien à redire ! Nous avons même etait surclassé ! La chambre décorée avec beaucoup de goût, spacieuses, propre et le lit trés confortable ! Une super vue! Le petit-déjeuner délicieux ! Et l'hôte au petit soins ! Je recommande cet hébergement sans hésitation !

Det var en av de finaste boenden vi har bott på. Fantastiskt läge med en stor uteplats med pool precis utanför vår dörr. Allt var mycket smakfullt och noga inrett, man fick en känsla av lyx. Vi bokade in oss på Williams middag på kvällen vilket var ett mycket klokt val. Vi fick en utsökt 3-rätters middag med utvalda viner därtill, otroligt gott! Vi är väldigt nöjda och kan varmt rekomendera Williams French.

Très belle maison disposant de 4 chambres et capable d'accueillir 10 personnes à table les soirs où vous n'êtes pas de sortie. Le tout est géré par un français qui sait cuisiner et qui partage sa passion. Le personnel est accueillant et très sympathique. N'hésitez pas, ils sauront vous convaincre. Bons séjours.

Fantastiskt fint!
Bättre kan man nästan inte bo. Som ett litet lyxhotell! Underbart vackert och bekvämt rum, fenomenal utsikt, supergod och vackert serverad frukost, trevligt personligt bemötande... Man känner sig som "privat" gäst. Vi bokade även middag vilkärt också var ett lyckodrag - så himla gott - och prisvärt. Det enda lite märkliga var att det inte fanns någon stege eller trappa för att komma i och ur poolen när vi var där. Det här boendet är ett fynd, rekommenderas varmt!
