"Very disappointed with the parking, we were charged an additional £20+ just to park our car, after already paying in full for the room. Furthermore, we had a room with a “double bed” which was as many hotels have, two single beds put together. This was not done well and we found a huge gap in the middle of both beds throughout the night, causing us to push the beds back together only for it to happen 2 hours later in the night. Disappointment based on the quality of the rooms and the hotel location which really makes you think this hotel is worthwhile."

"Very poor sleep due to street noise till 3 am from Nightclub across road from hotel . We complained to front desk but staff showed no concern or help . "

"The property is excellent , food in the restaurant superb especially the evening meal. We were served by Massimiliano who was friendly and attentive k, professional without being over the top or stuffy and pretentious - his style suited us perfectly and made for a very enjoyable evening. With no parking very close by dropping luggage off in the rain was tricky. We if possible I would travel my train and with a little less luggage as a result of this. The spa is excellent albeit a little expensive and limited to 90 mins but it is quite small so this controls the numbers in there at anyone time to a comfortable amount and ensures a peaceful experience. Rooms facing the road can be a little noisy with late night revellers on a Friday and Saturday but not too disruptive. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"I was cold in bedroom. Reported it and was told a heater would be supplied. There was already a fan of sorts which I presume was their version of a heater, but I could only get cold air. The lounge was cold too. Breakfast ok, but not much fruit. Lift very slow. General air of needing refurbishment."
