"For some unknown reason this place was already rated "excellent" whereas there was no previous reviews. So I felt a little bit manipulated as this place without being bad was way overrated. Although the place is generally clean, it nis not maintained properly. Some stuffs need some fixing. The room I stayed in for almost 10 days had suffered water leakage in the wall which resulted in traces on the wall which has not been redone or even painted. "Clean basic room with a window overlooking the corridor. Decent shower for Latin America. Hotel is in a residential area about 20 minutes walk to the old city. As always in Latin America very courteous staff. Reasonable but not lavish breakfast included. Overall fare value for money. "
