"Overall a lovely stay. Staff were polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was welcoming and fely cosy. Reception, lobby, lounge, library, bar and restaurant were beautiful but the room we were in was a little tired decor wise. I do love the old features and understand it is an old building but some areas needed a little attention."

"The breakfast fruit items were slightly overripe. The ceiling of the room had some cobwebs. Overall the hotel was excellent. Very good period features to the property and staff were very helpful and polite."
