Hotels with Hot Tubs in Clearwater-St. Pete Beaches

"Fell short of expectations for the price. Many things to like about this "boutique" hotel- the design, well-trained staff, restuarant overlooking bay, valet parking, location. However, many things NOT to like. While bayside (pool & restaurant) views are lovely, other side overlooks a busy, loud street. Enjoyed shuttle to beach, but not the walk back (on the busy road) when they failed to answer 3 calls for a pickup. Pool closed due to broken glass in the pool, knocked over the edge of the restaurant balcony directly above (design/safety issue needs to be addressed) pool area had used towels on ground and on chairs for several hours, no pool staff in sight, Rooftop closed for wedding, only left one small corner open for hotel guests, no bar service (an amenity we looked forward to enjoying). Carpets in hallway badly stained and also appeared dirty. Room nice enough, bathroom dated. The major disappointment was booking and pre-paying for a premium king balcony view room, and being told upon check-in that it was not available, they were 100% booked. They offered drink vouchers and $100 off the room, on the lowest floor with a street/parking lot view. Staff claimed they would contact Expedia for partial refund, but did not. Several calls from Expedia and myself to the manager were not returned, I don't expect that Hotel Zamora management will do the right thing. I'm not the first with this complaint (read the negative reviews). If you expect luxury and honesty, book elsewhere"

"Check in was a mess. Room wasn’t very clean, sink had hair and a braces rubber band and wouldn’t drain. Walked all the way to the check in counter to ask if someone could come clean the bathroom and housekeeping was already gone for the day. They gave us a different room. Walked all the way back to the new room only to find out the keys wouldn’t work. Walked all the way back to the front desk and had the reactivate the keys. Walked all the way back (there are 4 separate buildings and ours was not near the main check in) and keys still didn’t work. However, on the second trip down there I had asked for the direct phone number (because it’s not listed and the one on the confirmation email was not right) so I called the number and after waiting 15 min outside in the dark someone came and reprogrammed the door loc so we could finally get in. Property had 2 pools and one hot tub and was located on a nice beach. However it was rather run down and not very clean. I found out they had recently be bought by Hilton so they may be in the process of fixing it up but I was a little disappointed overall. "

"Not a good stay overall. The amenities were nice, and access to the beach and pools was convenient and enjoyable. However, the room was in very poor condition. First, check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM, but we didn’t receive our room until 5:45 PM. Although they offered us a late check-out, it didn’t make up for the issues we experienced. The biggest problem was a leak in the bathroom ceiling—it was leaking like a shower. By 8:30 PM, we couldn’t even use the toilet because the water was dripping directly over that area. Maintenance came and fixed it temporarily, but the issue continued. The next morning at 8:30 AM, the leak started again, with water coming down from the ceiling like a shower. I also want to mention the poor cleanliness in the bathroom. The door was dirty and showed signs of moisture damage. The staff did try to help and were attentive, but for the price we paid, the solutions provided were not acceptable. Overall, not a good experience."

"Beach access was great and very friendly staff. The room was quite small and no dishes stocked in the kitchenette. They do offer some styrofoam bowls/cups and plastic utensils though. "

"This motel has so much to do on property especially for kids Jenga Minigolf pingpong foosball etc and tiki bar very reasonable and Chris is a fun bartender "
