"This hotel is special. It is beautifully appointed and the service sets the standard for excellence. It’s beyond 5 stars. Our room and view were lovely and very clean. The property has wonderful spaces to relax outside. The breakfasts were extraordinary. The staff and the owners were warm and tended to our every need with great care and thoughtfulness. They were gracious hosts. We cannot recommend Don Alfonso 1890 highly enough."

"This property is dreamy! It is peaceful (a much needed break from the crowds), has a gorgeous view of the sea, and the staff are super helpful and kind. We ate at the restaurant the night of our arrival and had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was fresh and delicious. I wish we could have stayed here a few extra days to just relax!"

"We loved this family owned hotel with gorgeous views. It was a little outside the city center which was nice. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Rooms were big, clean and nice. Breakfast was great with fresh cappuccino and eggs made to order. Had a bed and breakfast feel. Parking was a little tight but it’s that way everywhere in Sorrento. Would definitely stay again "

"AnnaMarie and Luigi were wonderful They care about you and they and their staff will help in any way they can.They run a shuttle to Piazza Tazzo around every hour. It’s the best of both worlds, quiet and restful, but close enough to the action. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Grazie Mille Villa Pane!"

"Clean, airy room with good bathroom; also small refrigerator and coffee making facilities - all I needed for a comfortable stay. The property is more like a 15 minute walk from the station and the latter half uphill, partly along a narrow road with no pavement which wasn't much fun with a suitcase after dark but otherwise fine."

" From the moment we arrived, our stay at the Majestic Place Hotel in Sorrento was nothing short of spectacular. This truly is a majestic place! The hotel itself exudes elegance and comfort, with beautifully appointed rooms and common areas that make you feel right at home. But what truly sets this hotel apart are two key elements: their incredible rooftop bar and their absolutely amazing staff. The rooftop martini bar is, without a doubt, a highlight. The views over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The ambiance is fantastic, and it quickly became our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring. It’s a 25min walk to the center of Sorrento If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Sorrento, with an awesome rooftop bar and staff who are truly amazing, look no further than the Majestic Place Hotel! "Best hotel i could book for 6 days of travelling Sorrento and the area. The crew is so thoughtful and helping, they helped us with recommendations for nearby activities. Also, I celebrated my birthday and they helped my boyfriend to surprise me with a flowers bouquet. Highly recommended. Best VFM and the area itself of Massa Lubrense is beautiful and peaceful, full with classic delicious Italian restaurants. Would definitely love to go back there! "

"This property was lovely! The shuttle was extremely convenient and saved us so much money on cabs into town. It’s about a 10 minute ride into downtown Sorrento. Breakfast was amazing and the view was INCREDIBLE. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a drink. Only comments to note would be that the pool and jacuzzi close at 7pm which is quite early when the sun sets around 9pm. Also, the restaurant offerings were quite fancy and expensive so we couldn’t have a casual dinner at the hotel for our more low key days. Service was great and we enjoyed reserving time in the small gym available. "

"This is a beautiful property located about 20 mins drive from Sorrento. We lived at their charming old Sorrentine villa, which is a short walk away from the main building. It is quiet , spacious and have balconies overlooking the town below and the bay . You can enjoy the view of Mt Vesuvius across the bay , from the rooftop too.. Every single person working at the hotel - the reception desk , restaurants , Giovanni - our pick up driver and the lady at the bar - every one greets you with a smile on their face. The deck behind the bar, is a great place to enjoy the view with a glass of Hetmitage Sunset. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel which takes you to Sorrento town , so you can do your shopping and come back in time to have your dinner . The village behind the hotel is about 10 mins walk, and has some great local restaurants. You must visit Lo Stuzzichino for its seafood pasta. Pizzeria Buenos Aires and Di Mimi also serves fantastic Italian food. The desert shop next to the village church is also a must visit. If I come back to Sorrento, I will definitely stay here again. "
