"Staff were very good , breakfast was very good , only concerns were , coffee machine in room did not work but we also had a kettle so not totally unhappy , our room key failed to work on one occasion which was a bit of an inconvenience , both larger options at the function room bar needed to be pulled through prior to the start of the event not after I received two poor pints , other than that the event was great the function room and buffet were very good and I slept fine ."

"arrived early and found it closed and saying not open until 2pm , but someone did come down , we were a bit surprised when we turned into the car park and saw the building , what we didn't realize was it was an old pub and had been split, the bottom 2rds was and Indian restaurant the other lower third was a convenience store and the top part was the hotel with 7 rooms , we went back after 2 clock and had to check in via the restaurant , they were very welcoming and promptly showed us to our room , the room was nice on entry the bathroom was very large and clean and facilities all good , we had plenty of storage , kettle tea coffee etc , there was a lack of power sockets but otherwise acceptable , but to our surprise it had the old fashioned inner sliding glass panel shutters , when we looked closely we could see 2 x hinges with the 3 screws in each but it had o opening window it had obviously rotted and fell of and not been replaced , we did have a meal in the restaurant and it was superb , could not fault the meal or service in that part , we did ask the question and it was the same owner that owned the whole building hotel restaurant and londis shop it done the job and was local to the retail parks and royal mint we went to visit so all good in the end"

"The cottage was very clean throughout. Check-in was entirely online, as the cottages are self-contained from the main building. I think I was the only person staying during my visit, making it blissfully quiet. There are no dining facilities on-site, so you will need to drive to the recommended local places to eat. I didn't actually try any of them, as I was using the cottage as a base to visit family. I will definitely look to book here again next time I am in the area.""

"Lovely one night stay to attend a gig at the Acapela Studio in nearby Pentyrch. Our room was very comfortable and clean with milk and water provided in the fridge, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. The food for both the evening meal and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This together with super-friendly and helpful staff made our short break most enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!!"

"What an amazing Place. Amazing Hosts. Beautiful Scenery and Loads of horses around the property which my children loved. Elsa and her husband were incredible and so welcoming and genuinely nice people and checked wverything was OK for us and left us enjoy our time. The Cottage had lovely grounds and a lovely well kept secure garden for the dogs. The family are lovely. One of my dogs had a incident we had to nip out and left them briefly alone in cottage (we broke the rules) but he knocked the bedroom door closed and panicked as his mum was in the other room he chewed by the door frame and windows skirting boards in panic trying to get out and did damage and also damaged the blind I was mortified and offered to pay damages. The family were very understanding and I could not believe how amazing they were. The cottage has everything you need it is very well equipped and everything is well maintained and functional. We did not want to come home. It is a beautiful place. The only down side is when coming off the main road coming over the 1st cattlegrid you need to go over it very slowly, the road has alot of pot holes and 3 cattle grids to get to property if u have a low car it would be difficult dodging the pot holes we found it rough in our volvo xc90 all wheel drive. The road they own is OK its the shared road thats difficult, Idon't think we would of got there in my car as mine is quite low. AMAZING Place to stay can not complain about anything really. AMAZING! ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️"
