The highlight of the hotel is the owner Javier - incredible hospitality, made me feel welcome and gave me everything I needed to have an amazing time in Cusco. The rooms were of top quality, especially for the price. Located near the center of Cusco, making it easy to walk to any district.

This was by far one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staff were so friendly and made this a very welcoming hotel with friendly conversations. The room was very big and clean with super comfortable beds. Also the breakfast provided was top notch. It’s a little ways out from downtown but it is definitely one of the best stays if not the BEST stay in Cusco.

This was a great hotel, and the owner was absolutely incredible - I had a couple early morning trips and was willing to have a small breakfast/snack/water ready to go early so I had something to go with me. Staff was very kinda as well

Victor and the rest of the staff welcomed us like a family. Its not a fancy place but they were so accomodating and tried to give us whatever we requested. Though the place seems not safe at night they made sure that we were safe everytime we got picked up by ubers and tours. They didnt let us come out to wait for our rides, they always wanted us safe!. If ever i will return to Cusco i will definitely stay here again. I will recommend this place to my friends and families!!!

This hotel has the best hospitality I’ve ever been at. The owners go out of their way to communicate with you to serve you breakfast at sometimes 4am for your day trips planned around the area. I highly recommend this hotel

The host was very kind and helpful always ready to answer questions and help with giving directions how to get around. The staff was ready to offer help to call for taxi. It is an incredibly warm place to stay. Feels like home. Very highly recommended for anyone that travels to Cusco.

The staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel is very safe and clean. I loved that the hotel entrance has a lock that only they have access to. Nobody can come in and out. You have to be let in by the hotel staff. That means no strange stranger walking in to the hotel that isn’t supposed to be there. I met the owner Mr. Victor, he was very helpful and informative. He made sure I had a lunch snack for every day I was out doing activities in Machu Picchu. Plus, the breakfast was delicious! Side note, drink mate de coca to help with the altitude sickness!

The management was pleasant and offered help when needed. Breakfast was nice. Maintenance needs little improvements (shower ceiling paint). A thermostat with air/heat would be better for guest comfort. More toilet paper in the room would be appreciated :-)

Ureta is hidden gem in Cusco, if I could give more stars I would! We initially chose this hotel for the price and that they picked us up at the airport. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like they were welcoming us into their home. They served us a tea to help adjust to the altitude. They serve breakfast, but unfortunately we were not able to go during the designated time. Instead they packed us bags with fruit, cookies/crackers and water-which was perfect for us! The hotel is a short walk off the main square with restaurants and shops. They were happy to help in any way they could. The best way for us to communicate with them was through WhatsApp 51 949 719 738

Mi Padre Víctor! I had a great stay here in the hotel, the hotel communication before coming to the hotel was great. They contact me via WhatsApp to confirm that the airport shuttle would pick me up from the airport. So made it easier getting to the hotel. Once I got to the hotel, I was greeted by the one and only Victor! Straight away got me check in, sat me down with a cup of Coca (the hot drink that helps with Altitude) and told me what not to eat (red meat, pastas and fatty foods within the first 24 hours for the altitude ) and then sent me to room to make sure I went to sleep for 30mins (helps with the Altitude)…this advise generally helped me. As I was only in Cusco for 48 hours, so every hour counted. Victor even gave me an Altitude pill too, this was handy to have. Because Cusco dozen of Pharmacy shops. So when you go to the pharmacy you can show which pill you need (the altitude pills are very cheap, and not expensive in Cusco) unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish, so having the pill to show helped. I was in room 205, probably the best bed I slept in while I was in Peru. The bed was soft, the pillow I wanted to take home with me. As that was great too. The room was clean, spacious, bathroom got what you needed. The Wifi in the room was good, even when I did have an issue. Victor was quickly there to fix it. I thought the location was good, Overall a massive thank you for Victor for making my stay amazing, he was a star and treated me like a son.

Property was clean. You get what you pay for. Not very close to anything. Free Airport shuttle is only when coming to the hotel not leaving.

Our stay was amazing!!! Victor the owner and his wife treated us like family. They helped us with great recommendations where to eat and shop. The accommodations were clean, fresh and the bed was super comfortable. I would highly recommend the Ureta hotel in Cusco.

This hotel was a welcome refuge in Cusco after traveling ALL around Peru and needing somewhere to land. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was made to order and they all took great care to make sure I had everything I needed and then some. HIGHLY recommend!

This would be a deal at twice the price. The rooms are clean, the mattresses are firm, the pillows and blankets are non-allergenic. The location is about 10 minutes away from Centro, and it is easy to get a cab for 7 soles (2 bucks US). The owner, Victor, is so kind and friendly, he brings the best kind of experience to a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is amazing and they are happy to customize to needs and preferences. Victor and the team are kind and helpful and make it feel like you are staying at the inn of an uncle or cousin. Victor has connections for all tour packages, and they will come to the hotel and can help you get your Machu Pichu ticket even if you did not make a reservation like me. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport in a clean new van. They make you feel like a high priority guest even though all us are here to do the same adventure tours. The neighborhood is pretty normal and has a laundry, restaurants, and therapeutic massage nearby. Highly recommended.

Es un lugar encantador atendido por los propios dueños. Son unas personas muy calidas que cuidaron de nosotros durante nuestra estadia. Cuentan con un desayuno muy generoso. Las habitaciones estan inmaculadas, muy limpias. Me gusta que el hotel esta cerca de todo y a la vez un poco alejado para escapar del bullicio del centro. Este hotel es una joya en calidad y precio. Altamente recomendado.

Our experience at this hotel was incredible! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also great and delicious. The owner of this hotel is by far one of the kindest people we have ever met. He really cares about his guests and does an exceptionable job at showing it. Great place to stay!
Amazing small hotel. Ran by a local family. 15 minute walk to the main square. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and hot showers. Support local and stay here! So friendly. Convenient to the airport also.

What a wonderful place to stay in Cusco. The owners are so welcoming and accommodating. The hotel room was large with great beds. The included breakfast was delicious! Close to main streets which is convenient but adds a bit more traffic noise. Would definitely stay there again.

The owners Victor and Maria were more than nice and accommodating during our stay. The hotel was extremely clean and neat inside the rooms as were the shared spaces. They provided a really nice, complete breakfast with fresh juice, coca tea, coffee, small sandwiches, fresh fruit, bread and butter and other small bites. The hotel was about a mile from the Plaza de Armas, generally an easy walk or a short cab ride. They also provided airport pick up service upon arrival (15 minutes away) It was a great value for the quality of the accommodations with a very high level of personal service. Note: some basic Spanish is a plus, but not an absolute necessity

Incredible stay
It was all in all a very great stay. It’s family owned- they and staff were incredibly accommodating. I felt safe and the owner went above and beyond. He gave me many tips for my touring around Cusco and Machu Picchu. I had to leave for my tour to Machu Picchu at 3:30AM, and the owner was awake and provided me with snacks to take with me. I give 10/10. (My only advice is that the shower floor should have some anti-slip adhesives. So people don’t accidentally slip.)
