"We needed a place to stay close to the pier to catch a morning ferry. The room very spacious and clean. Concierge staff was very helpful. The SM City Mall is a few steps away making the location very convenient for dining and shopping options."

"This was our second time at the hotel within a week. We came back here after being away in Bohol for three days. Upon check-in, I asked the kind lady at the front desk if she could assign us a better room with a working air conditioner and no musty smells. She said she would try her best. After a few hours, we went back to check and the room was ready. It was in fact better than the first room we had earlier in the week. The air conditioner was still not working at full capacity, but it was better. Also, the room smelled less musty. The next day, we got a notice letting us know that there would be no hot water as the boiler was being worked on. As much as I really appreciate the kindness of the staff, I felt like this property was not the best experience for me and my daughter. I’m pretty certain we will not be back. Sad. :("

"Upon arrival, I was greeted very warmly, and I immediately felt comfortable and safe on the property. The receptionist was very kind and upgraded my room, which was a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated. The property itself is beautiful, and the room was also very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. The grounds are large, so depending on where your room is located, it can be a bit of a walk to and from the main lobby and dining areas. The outdoor dining was a highlight, and the buffet and evening show were especially memorable. The show itself was spectacular, with an excellent presentation featuring the culture and traditions of the different islands of the Philippines. It was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. I also think the beach is one of the nicer hotel beaches in Mactan. While I wouldn’t say the beach itself is anything extraordinary, it is pleasant and adds to the beauty of the resort. The gym was pretty good and had what I needed for a workout, although some areas and equipment could use a bit of an upgrade. If your plan is to stay mainly on the hotel grounds and enjoy the resort, this is a very nice place to stay. There are also a few local sights worth seeing. However, beyond that, I personally would not choose Mactan as a destination primarily for sightseeing. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay. The warm welcome, beautiful property, room upgrade, outdoor dining, and spectacular evening show made for a memorable experience."

"We had a great experience at Costabella. Definitely a bang for your buck! It is slightly outdated but the facilities and surroundings are well-maintained and clean. Would have been more awesome if they can fix the boardwalk. They have warm and courteous staff as well. Food is on the pricier side but great overall. The experience is very good overall."
