"Location is really very good. One side is the F&B dinning at Darling Harbour, another side is the town area. However, staff service needs to be improved. Listing on Expedia said 3 king beds available but there were only 2 king beds on-site. They agreed to offer free breakfast throughout our stay but there were still charges to our bill and dispute by staff when we checked out. Top Council Of The City Of Sydney Hotel Reviews

Rydges Australia Square

Rydges Australia Square

8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay - it was a fabulous location, super comfortable beds & helpful staff (they let us check in 90 mins early for no extra cost!). If you prebook the buffet breakfast you get $4 off, so comes to $28pp. This is cheap for a hotel buffet, but the quality is so so. The coffee is also pre batched. If you prefer barista made coffee and you’re not short on time I’d recommend you skip the buffet. The bedroom was very clean, the bathroom has seen better days. The shower in particular was a bit discoloured and the shower head was very old and loud. Location was fantastic. There’s a nearby bar which played loud music but it stopped at 11pm on the Friday night. It was quiet Saturday night. This hotel, for its competitive price, was overall good and I’d stay here again."
