"The upgraded cabin was so peaceful and the deep hot bath on the verandah was an incredible experience listening to the wind in the trees and the boobook owl. The care for country walk the next day led us deeper into the rainforest and the tranquillity of the place. The compost toilet was very effective and the be extremely comfy. "The picturesque views of the Huon River and the surrounding hills and valleys are the face of this property. It features stand-alone and self-contained cottages that are spacious, clean and modern in design. We stayed for two nights in the soa cottage named Debbie Owen’s. Our experience ticked all the top-rating boxes. On top of it all, it is remarkable to highlight and note in our honest review that the warm bodies behind the “wonderful-ness” of this property are the hosts Ling and Tom who are...

"We had a lovely, peaceful stay. My husband and I along with our son, his wife and two year old daughter had a wonderful five days in Lucindale. Our grand daughter loved the paddymelons, that were always grazing on the lawns. Surprisingly we were patient enough to see two of the resident platypus in one of the prettiest ponds I have seen. "A beautiful, luxurious cabin in a quiet and lovely location. Very peaceful place to stay. "

"We loved staying at three beaches for 2 nights before our road trip around Tasmania. Cherie is an amazing and informative host. Our girls loved the little treats like marshmallows and making hot chocolates. Will definitely return and recommend to others."

"We arrived on a cold, wet afternoon and were delighted to find the fire alight and lights on. The welcome supplies in the fridge and fresh fruit were very much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Beautiful decor and art works. The information provided on the artists and history was appreciated as well."

"This property was amazing! The wood fireplace and the location on the property was just spectacular! Heidi and her husband was fantastic. We rang to say we would be there in the dark and they had the fireplace going for us so the place was nice and warm for our arrival. They even had breakfast provisions for us in the fridge and a freshly made loaf of their own bread! Could not fault our stay!"
