"Great location, great food and a thoroughly enjoyable stay"

"The hotel was fine, the manager was a good man, but there should have been a fan atleast in the room, it was very warm at night, couldn't sleep. The hotel location is great and the environment was friendly."

"Clean room, staff are very friendly & helpful, breakfast was amazing with lots of choices"

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."

"Staff very welcoming & helpful Parking very tight, couldn’t use with our new car so used public car park nearby free overnight ."

"Very peaceful location with fantastic view over the golf course. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat here but everything was available if required."

"Great 5th floor view of the sea. Room was nice. Hotel could use a refresh, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Big thank you to Elena at the front reception! Always very pleasant and a treat asset to the hotel!!"

"A welcoming & immaculately clean hotel. Location is fantastic, very close to Winchelsea & the coast. Lots of easy walking close by & not far from a lovely pub with good food. Breakfast here was plentiful & delicious ."

"Friendly staff and comfortable hotel."

"Clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Adequate breakfast. Good location in terms of walking down to the seafront. Would note for travellers with accessibility issues the hotel is at the top of a very steep road so may not be suitable for mobility aid users."

"Good location and reasonable rooms. Parking limited, although streets nearby. Slightly tired in places, however clean."
