"Lovely property that has been tastefully renovated over the past years. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The hotel is small which gives it a very comfortable feel.
Service is a little haphazard. Lot of young staff that don’t have the experience to deliver the service you would associated with such a lovely traditional hotel. "
"Stayed here for 1 night. Super friendly staff, great location, excellent twin room with superb views, bathroom a little tired but had a very nice stay."
"Great one night stay, very comfortable pleasant hotel would certainly stay again and so close to the beach too
staff were all very helpful and freindly too would recommend"
"Very small and tight room for two people, but nicely decorated. Parking was free with a permit but was tough to find a spot. Excellent location. Overall a great place to stay for a few nights."
"The hotel was in great location, right in the sea front. Walkable distance to the station, shops, Pier and Theatres. The staff were friendly and the check in was quick and easy "
"Friendly host, room was very cosy and everything was thought about. Really liked the handmade brownies and biscuits… nice touch.
Would highly recommend "

The Victorian pier extends into the sea with its traditional tearoom and fishing spots at the end. Colourful beach huts line the promenade where you can watch sailing boats or enjoy ice cream after visiting Towner Gallery.
"We were visiting friends and stayed one night. Good sized room, very comfortable, good en-suite and air con. All the brown wood was a bit dated and dark. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good"
"An amazing weekend at the Grand - was there for our wedding anniversary that coincided with the Airbourne. Staff on the whole were amazing - the service was a bit intermittent at times, but it was a busy weekend for them so totally understand how difficult it is to get the resource right. We will definitely be back to stay again."
"Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff were warm and attentive, and the service offered solid value for money. That said, the balcony could have benefited from more thorough cleaning, and the absence of in-room WiFi was a notable drawback—especially since access was limited to the lobby. With a few improvements in cleanliness and connectivity, the hotel has the potential to offer an even more comfortable and enjoyable stay."
"The restaurant was lovely and they had a great chef with imaginative ideas. We loved our evening meal at a reasonable price. Several lounge areas and a bar to sit quietly with a drink and a book.very good value hotel. Thankyou. "
