The Burrard is in the heart of downtown Vancouver, within steps of the restaurants and entertainment that attract visitors. The Burrard is a no frills, modern property oriented toward young people that provides a pleasant place to sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when I needed recommendations for when I wanted snacks and later a meal (the hotel itself lacks both). Both were literally within a half block. I loved the "got better things to do" vibe of the place because I did have other things I was doing. If you want old-style amenities and luxury, then go to the Parker."
