"Second time staying here when visiting Kyoto. Hearton is excellent in many ways. Location is strategic for us: close enough to the transit system and yet far enough from the touristy areas. There are a LOT of neighborhood amenities though. 7-11 is just up the street. We also loved the restaurants around and the breakfast at the hotel (a little pricey though). The rooms are large compared to Tokyo. The staff was always so polite and welcoming. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Love this hotel."
