The staff were very nice. Samuel rhe porter was very detailed in his advise on the available hotel facility . Espee, the restaurant staff was very helpful, nice and very kind. She went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The reception staff needs to get more information on transportation around Dubai. We asked about train or bus services to expo dubai, but the only option they could give was by taxi. Whereas the al riga train station provides train service to the expo dubai. The taxi cost us a lot. Also there are free bus shuttles called expo riders from many points. The management could something about the noise from the disco hall. Thanks for the early check-in given.

Average.
Breakfasts were definitely worth it, but the lobby area etc smelled of cigarettes, and in general the area appeared slightly worn. The pool area upstairs was fairly average. Shower and room facilities were tidy and mostly clean, however the towels had stains on them from previous users. It was handy to shops and to the bus and train stations.

We liked there Breakfast staffs and food. They were helpful. The room we stayed, was not a good room. Bathroom mirror was broken at the middle. Whole trip we covered the mirror because in any culture of the world people follows broken mirror brings bad luck. We asked for room change. The front desk staff was not helpful. We were waited long time to switch the room. Finally we gave up and stayed 3 days in same room.

Worst misguiding hotel with no amenities in Dubai
I stayed for 2 nights with wife and kid because it was shown as family hotel with swimming pool and gym etc but all were in bad condition and gym was hidden bar. Pool was worst.there was no rooftop restaurant. Completely misguided hotel. Not at all good for family. Will never ever stay at this hotel.

Good price but very uncomfortable
It started very nice with breakfast brought into the room but the night staff was very rude when i asked them about the Wi-fi as to why it wasnt working...they kept on hanging up the phone on me from my room...and when i was going out, i asked for the taxi and they refused to book call one for as they weren't any outside and i was travelling with two toddlers. At night time all you could hear is the noise from the nightclub that they have downstairs...so you cant even sleep properly

Horrible staff but lovely place
The place was lovely, clean and comfortable but the staff were VERY RUDE AND DISMISSIVE!!!! It was very frustrating dealing with the staff

Worst hotel I’ve been in in 30 years. Dingy dirty room, horrible bed, wall paper bubbling and peeling. Outdated furniture. Poor tv reception. Rude receptionists. So bad I checked out after 2 hours and went to the holiday inn down the street. How they get a 4 star rating is beyond me. It’s it even a 2.

Room was clean and nice. Staff customer service was terrible and the prices for things seemed higher than other hotels. If you are looking for somewhere just to sleep it’s fine otherwise dealing with the staff was frustrating at times.

Where to start!
While the name sounds grandiose, it is the very opposite of it. Asked for a non-smoking room: Given a smoke chain room. Asked again for a non-smoking room: Given a smoke chain room again. The room also smelled like rotten something. The room temperature was low — wanted to normalize it. Realized the AC is not changeable. You had to shut the fuse to turn it off. Beds were clean — but bad mattresses. Staff behind the desk: Rude to the core. No eye contact at all. Breakfast: Not worth it. Creasy, Old, rotton and tasteless. TV: 3 channels in Arabic and 1 CNN. That was it. Do NOT waste your time here. Pay $5 to stay in a place where you would not regret. This is a dodgy place at its best.

Too expensive for a Travel Lodge type hotel
There was hair in the bathtub. The carpet smelled of urine. The tea kettle did not work. There was no alarm clock, no clock period. The ceiling over the bathtub had water running from it. Like the tub over it was leaking. The staff was nice enough, but delayed my checking in by demanding a print out of my confirmation. I gave them the confirmation number I had wrote down but they insisted they wanted to see it on official email or a print out of some sort. WHO has a printer on an airplane? In a taxi? While en route to the hotel you booked? I told them if they wanted one they needed to give me access to a computer, they did so but made me feel as if they were doing me a favor and as if I was annoying them.

Nightclub at the 8th floor and at the ground floor so unless you stay at the 4th floor you won't have a calm stay in this hotel. Plus, even if the rooms are clean the general feeling that I will always remember is that moisture smell that invade the entire hotel. Breakfast was just OK, I mean on 6 days of stay, we took the breakfast 4 days and at the end we went to mc donalds. The gym dusty and the pool small, the roof view on air discharge, sauna and hammam never open.Quite far from the pictures. Internet is NOT free in the room.

Despite the location in Deira, actually it was a very pleasant hotel
Off the current business track (it is in the old part of town, near the Creek) this hotel looks a bit disappointing at first glance; but actually the service is of a high level and the rooms are clean and well presented. It takes a while to get to downtown Dubai; which is a bit of a faff for a business traveller and honestly, I would try to stay more central to the current business district next time. But if I wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay this would be it. The food leaves something to be desired: lots of burgers and chips. But this aside not a bad place to stay.
