"Exceptional hotel. Close to everything you need (good food, shopping, Madison Sq park), and the hotel is one of the best in the city. Big rooms, great staff, and some great views depending on the room you get!"

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York City - Chelsea
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is very convenient if you are in town for an event at Madison Square Garden. It’s in a safe, clean neighborhood & the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. 👍👍 for a New York City stay!"
"I liked my room a lot. It was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. There were plenty of places around to grab food if needed. The breakfast was adequate and appreciated. My only drawback was my view was a brick wall. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was super low. "
"Property was great. Checking in the attendant was not very friendly at all. All other staff was amazing and very attentive.
Water dispenser in the "Smile to Go" was not working or not filled, therefore getting water was very limited.
Restaurants on site were also great, with amazing service!"
"My daughter and I stayed here 3 nights and it was perfect. We felt safe in the neighborhood and there was a plethora of dining and shopping options nearby! Walking distance to local attractions (depending on how far you want to walk!) Staff was helpful when we had questions on navigating the city. Cute park nearby to enjoy your breakfast at in the mornings. Highly recommend!"
Though entrance is generally restricted, looking in on Manhattan’s last remaining private park reveals 19th-century glamour and big city neighborliness.
