"Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a rental car so it was nice to have the option to park there and so helpful to be able to use the parking for a few hours even after we checked out. That gave us time to see a few more places in New Orleans before our flight without having to worry about finding parking elsewhere. The hotel is in a location that makes it pretty easy to walk to most places in the French Quarter."

"The first debacle was the parking. We were told there were no places at the hotel. One person told us they had deals with other hotels for parking and another person told us we needed to park in a public lot. The public lot we were sent to 3 blocks away charged $100 a night for a non-preferred spot. We decided to park for an hour so we could check-in and solve the parking problem later. Checking in however took the whole hour. Two employees were working but the lobby was backed up with a line of guests. We waited for our turn but each guest checking in took at least 10 minutes. When we finally got to the desk, even though they already had our payment information it took forever to get any kind of communication. They gave us 2 keys and sent us to our room. They told us to wait until 5 pm when the workers left to try and park. We might get lucky enough to get a space. We went up to our room and neither of our key cards worked. We went back down, waited in line again (there was only one worker at this point), and were told that they would reprocess the keys but if we still couldn't unlock the door we would have to wait for an engineer. When the keys didn't work, of course, we chose to leave. They still charged us 100 dollars. Because it took so long, we had to buy an extra hour of public parking. Thankfully we found a better hotel just outside the quarter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL."

"Staff was so welcoming when we arrived, especially Ms Deinira Joseph. Very helpful with every question we had. The $15 credit at Mr Ed’s next store was great for breakfast every day, the free daily jazzy pass for street cars, buses and trolleys was handy. Distilled water available for guests to fill water bottles helped ensure we didn’t have to cart cases of water bottles to the hotel. Security was great, had to have key card to use the elevator and staff monitored the lobby. Nigel, who greeted us at the door every day with his welcoming smile was an added bonus for our stay!"

"The hotel was nice, but the blankets were kind of in and on one of our blankets that were blood stains on it. Also, the front desk didn’t have any water or room service or umbrellas. The location was really great yeah if you want to stay by Bourbon Street. the gym was nice too."
