I booked two rooms for 5 of us, the 3 beds room and 2 beds room are bigger than my expectation. We are all very satisfied with the room, location, staff service and free coffee corner at hotel lobby. Will strongly recommend this hotel to friend and relative

Good building but bad "policies" and rude staff
Great building. Some staff were excellent and friendly others were terrible and should be removed. I was told I could not have food delivered and that I should go and get my own food. What year is this? I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel within walking distance of JR Hakata....the room was small but comfortable...the WiFi was so so but when I mentioned that st reception, they gave me a booster router that was perfect.

A lovely stay
This was a really nice stay and we were lucky to have a room upgrade. I think it's the first time I've seen a massage chair in a private room. The room was a really good nice with some darker and classy furnishings. There was a small issue after checking which was dealt with quicky and professionally. Whilst the breakfast area looked more on the canteen side, the spread was fantastic. A very wide range of Western and Asian foods. Not far at all from the very large Hakata station. Would definitely stay here again

Second stay here. The first was during the winter. This time around it was during the summer. The room was spacious and comfortable with the exception of the hotel controlled air conditioning temperature. Each floor’s temperature is set to a standard temperature by the hotel, making the thermostat in the room essentially obsolete as you can only control the fan settings. I had to take a very hot shower so that when I came out the room would feel bearable. Other than that, the stay was quite nice as the staff were friendly. Perfect for a short stay and relatively close to the station.

Main lobby is clean and some what updated. The room was a different story. The walls are dirty. A fresh coat of paint is needed. The Carpet needs to be updated. Have to raise my foot at least six inches to step in and out of the bathroom. It felt like I was stepping thru a ships room compartments. Yes I even stubbed my foot twice upon entering and leaving the bathroom.

Holiday Made Enjoyable By Great Staff
Upon arrival I requested for early check-in as my son was not feeling well. Initially I was told check-in at 3pm. However the female staff kindly obliged n allowed early check-in after hearing my son was sick. Next day I decided to take the hotel breakfast.As it was quite late, alot of food were consumed n there seemed no top-up. I asked the same female reception staff if food could be replenished if I bought the breakfast. Immediately she notified the kitchen. Another staff by name of Sebastian kindly allowed me to send my emailed USJ voucher to him thru the hotel as I needed the hard copies. I am impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the hotel reception staff n kitchen staff. Indeed I had a pleasant stay with Hotel Sunline Fukuoka Hakata Ekimae.

OK with this price range.
All were acceptable with this price range. Breakfast was alright but the restaurant needs to be renewed. It was a bit old. WiFi was good.

Room was bigger than budget hotel rooms in Tokyo and Osaka but there was dust in the nightstands and lamps. Check in was smooth, it appears hotel caters to primarily Chinese and Korean tourists based on language speakers and type of breakfast served. But overall convenient and comfortable for the price.

Great location
Made a short trip to Hakata/Fukuoka by Shinkansen. This hotel is really close to Hakata where the Shinkansen trains stop at. Easy access to ramen shops!

Great location
Only stayed 1 night. Perfect location for station and taxi trip ferry port to Busan. Clean room, bathroom was a small compact cubicle so have to step up into to it. Very helpful staff. We arrived after 7pm so had to call ahead to confirm we were arriving late. Overall a pleasant experience.
