The staff were very helpful and kind. The only thing I did not like was that you had to remove the key card in order to turn off all the lights. This also turned off the AC, and the room got hot and stale overnight.

Just a great stay with no problems. Hotel looks new and modern. My room was a bit small but normal by Japanese standards. Really easy to get here from Hakata Station. I come to Fukuoka often this is place is better then most of the other places I've stayed at. Next time I come, this will be the first place I I try to book with. I didn't get her name but my housekeeper on the 10th floor

We loved having our own private washer/dryer in our room. It made it super easy to just start a load of laundry right before we left for the day and even wash a load while we slept. I'd like to give 5 stars but for some reason our bathroom constantly had faint smell of sewage.

I loved my stay at this hotel. Great value for the price paid. Staff were great, room with washer was super convenient. The noise from train that other reviewers mentioned isn't too bad. Unless you're and ultra light sleeper it shouldn't cause too much of a problem. Only con for me is that it's not super close to the train station, about a 10-15 min walk so can be a bit troublesome with luggage. But again this is a very small issue because the location was still great surrounded by little cafes/food places and convenience stores.

My second time with the hotel. This is my favourite hotel in Hakata! Rooms always very clean and I love that every room comes with a washer/dryer! Also very convenient as it's just a simple flatland walk from Hakata Station in just 10mins.

Tokyu Stay chains are always reliable. Tucked in a quiet street approximately 10 min from the train station. Rooms were spacious, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again

Very good hotel near Hakata Station. In-room washer/dryer is great (though a full cycle takes several hours). Buffet breakfast was tasty. Check in staff was quick and friendly. Check out quickly done via machine.

For the price, it is not a good value. The room is smallish and since the railroad is nearby, can be noisy to a sensitive person. But for me, a really disappointing thing is their policy for lost room card. We received two plain looking room cards and I lost one of them. I did not worry because I think it was not a big deal. However, they charged 2000 yen (not 200) when check out. I have stayed in countless hotels in many countries but never imagined a hotel chaege that kind of money for a lost card key. And they did not warn of this policy when check in. If you are prone to lose keys, stay away from this hotel.

Tokyu Stay is my favorite hotel chain and this location meets my expectations. Comfy and clean. It's not as "happening" of an area as, say, Tenjin, but there are a lot of restaurants nearby, a few conbinis, and JR Hakata Station has a crazy number of ramen shops. The walk from the station at night is nice, a small park nearby, etc.

The hotel room is quite spacious and it is much easier to move around. It is about 8 to 10 mins walk from Hakata station. So much easier and faster if you do not have the suitcases with you though. The hotel seems newly renovated and looks quite new. It is away the station enough to be on the more quiet street and have quite a few dinning options.

The staff were very helpful and could speak a good amount of english too. We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was small but sufficient and had everything we needed. Could be better with cable tv . Breakfast buffet spread was small but very decent. It was a 10-12 min walk to the JR/subway station which was acceptable. For the price it was a wonderful stay.

The staff was excellent. Due to the language barrier with some restaurants and the large number of people in our party, the front desk staff very patiently worked with us and tried to help us make dinner reservations. During our departure, they were also able to help us call for the cab. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility was also very well maintained and clean. I also love the laundry option in the rooms as this has allow me to pack lightly for travel. Overall, great experience.

We love this property. Hotel is very clean and nice. They have all toiletries that you need at the lobby (shaving cream, toothbrushes, shower caps, hair rubberband, razor, shower sponges, Slippers, & etc. Front desk staff helped us made reservations and call taxi. I highly recommend this hotel! We'll come back again and recommend to our friends & family if we come to Japan.

Great Hotel near Hakata Station
I love this hotel. Our room has a washer/dryer and a microwave. Love the kettle inside too. Room is spacious. Was there during spring time and it's nice coming back and having hot coffee from the lobby. Would stay again!

Stayed 5 nights 8th floor.about 600 metre from hakata station.large room and bed microwave.fridge.kitchen sink.kettle and washing machine that also dryed .Air purifier. good shower.bath .had free breakfast but limited to Europeans. No cereal. Yogurt .eggs other than powered scrambled. Could slighly open window but extremely noisy from trains. Great value as we booked 6 months ealier. Not much English spoken etc.most instructions in Japanese. Could not get tv to work in English. Very clean.definately would recommend. ⁰

It was a pleasant stay overall. Hotel provided nearly everything what I need. Room was spacious than I expected and very clean. However there’s some smell came from (I presume) shower curtain - other than that it was so nice. Id recommend this hotel to someone who will visit hakata.

The room is small but thats standard in Japan. It was my first time to see a washing machine in a hotel room and it saved lots of my laundry time after the trip. The free coffee at the lobby is also great.

Great location to main Hakata transit station.
Great stay! Comfortable bed (double size in Japan is like a Queen size in U.S.) Microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, in room safe, trouser press, hangers, hot water kettle, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash soap were all available in the room. Free tea bags & coffee were available 24/7 daily in the lobby. Deep tub & shower available. Staff was friendly & helpful always. Housekeeping cleaners were thorough & communicated when cleaning would occur. Loved dining at Kamon Restaurant, just steps away from Tokyu Stay Hakata hotel in Fukuoka. Owner, Mayo, prepares the most delicious traditional Japanese dishes! Please visit her. Hotel is located next to train tracks but we hardly heard them and when we did, it was not loud- we actually enjoyed it. It was an easy 10 min. walk to the main transit station, Hakata, where we easily connected to trains, subway, & buses. Hakata Station houses many stores & restaurants. 7-11, Lawson & Family Mart convenience stores are all located within 2-5 min. walks from this hotel. We will definitely book this hotel again! Thank You!

Tokyu stay Hakata is located close to a small green space, Family mart and 7/11 supermarkets. In addition, it is about seven minutes walk from Hakata station, and is therefore an ideal base for travelling to other parts of Japan. The staff were all very helpful and incredibly pleasant.
