"Big hotel, nice pool. Room was was spacious with a clean bathroom but the carpet in the room was absolutely filthy. Stains everywhere. I didn't want to walk around in the room and did use the provided paper slippers. Also the window did not seal-there was an actual gap, and the room faces the street so I had to sleep with earplugs. "

"Good location if you like being close to the pier for traveling to the islands, and having the convenience of a mall right next door. The rooms are average at best and the breakfast buffet could be greatly improved with some traditional breakfast meats and a dedicated omelette station. One thing I found very good was the hiring of the deaf for the positions that do not require regular verbal interaction."

"We were a group of nature lovers who were using this as a three night stay to get used to the temperature and time change upon arrival in Borneo. Loved the grounds and snorkeling right from the beach. Fantastic nature center staffed by several biologists. The food options were a bit pricey but we were expecting that. The grounds were very birdy and we found two Borean Pit Vipers. The mangrove tour was fantastic. Room is very good quality for the price."
