"Absolutely would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic, or even family get away at a great value.
The villa we stayed in was Tsutsuji (sp?). It was much more than expected. Clean, comfortable beds, very nice indoor soaking tub and outdoor jetted tub. Needed Google translate to figure out tub and bidet controls. Multilingual instructions on operation would've been helpful.
No microwave in room.
The plan included Japanese BBQ dinner and breakfast for two. Yakiniku platter was plentiful with a nice variety (though wife would've liked more veggies).
Please note: the park's walkways are hilly and steep. Scooters are available for those with mobility issues; check with park for details; the bus stops and shops in the park close around 5:30 pm."
"Room was fantastic and very spacious offering amenities like kitchen, dining table, bathtub, washer etc. It also had private rooftop access with jacuzzi overlooking the ocean (bear in mind there is no swimming pool). I personally loved the breakfast which was grilled salmon rice, beef sukiyaki, pork soup etc. but that was offered as the default option daily. Food in the restaurant was very competent too - offering a mix of Japanese & Western dishes like pasta and pizza, beers on tap etc. Just a 5min walk to the Couples Shrine and overall the highlight of our family trip to Fukuoka. Free parking available on the site."
"Check in staff were so amazing. When ordering a cab, they would come out and make sure the driver knew where we were going. Only unfortunate thing is the area is undergoing demolition of the neighboring mall. Not much around the property. But still a nice view"
"Great to be so near Maizuru Park and the PayPay Dome and shopping. The staff and service at the hotel was as excellent as you'd expect in Japan, and even as a traveling family of 3 with 3 suitcases, in the room with 4 twin beds we could totally make the fairly spartan accommodations work. The biggest issue we had was a fairly constant pounding sound -- unsure if it was from the HVAC system or (as we were on the floor just below) the washing machine(s). It was like someone in the hall or an adjoining room was periodically dribbling a basketball.
We didn't leverage the restaurant, but the fare available looked good. We walked 6 or 7 minutes down to the pristine Mister Donut."
