The location of property is really good. Close to all popular attraction spots, approx 12-20mins walk to most attraction places yet quiet enough for rest. Taxis in Penang generally takes a longer duration to pick us up, approx. 10-12mins. as such, we preferred to walk by foot to nearby locations. Check in counter allowed us to deposit our bags before check-in, which we really appreciate. It was spacious as well

High standard hotel, excellent staff.
Whilst touring Malaysia I stopped off at Georgetown Penang for 3 nights I stayed at the Victoria Garden hotel. It was excellent from the minute I walked through the door. All Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. The Hotel is modern, well furnished and immaculately clean. It is in a good location to explore Georgetown and surrounding areas. The rooms are very good and well serviced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit.

Good location with friendly and helpful staff. Front office staff, WJ helped me to arrange a taxi at 4am to go to airport. Since it was too early to have breakfast, kitchen staff arranged a fruit plate for me the day before. Fantastic service, the room also very nice. I will definitely come back next time I go to Penang.

The bedsheet and liner all full with very strong softener smell. The smell is unbearable and if you are sensitive to that, you really cant sleep the whole night. for light sleeper you may request room facing backyard and don’t choose highest floor (4th floor). If the night is raining night, you definately cannot sleep because the water drops at something aluminium plate at the top. It is super annoying.

I paid the tax 12 RM on arrival. Hope next time Expedia charges altogether so that no need to pay extra to the hotel. The breakfast was quite poor, not much choice and most of the food was too hot to eat for the foreigners.

The hotel is located on a relatively quiet street except for the bar directly across from the hotel which plays very loud music till late at night. Check in and out was smooth and easy. Location is convenient in George town. Room and bathroom was clean. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were too soft (sank in completely). Overall, a decent hotel to stay in for a few nights.

The location is great for walking and seeing the authentic part of Penang. Lots of great places to eat and the hotel was clean and the staff was kind and helpful.

Clean and modern hotel, good sheltered parking, quiet during night for peaceful sleep, excellent location for walking tour. Bed is firm, if offer better pillow choices, this hotel will be perfect.

A hidden gem
From checkin the stay was pleasant. I was surprised with the room, it was clean and tidy but an accessible room. I asked the staff and they said it was fine for me to stay in there. I loved the space, shower was huge naturally but the bath mat soaked up a lot of the water. Easy walk to Little India, transport and the Boston Cafe across the road is great. Worth the money great location. A walk thru the street Art is a must in Georgetown

We had a pleasant stay at Victoria Garden. Staff was really kind to let us check in earlier, as our flight arrived in the morning. Room was really nice and comfy. Location is great and is within walking distance of a number of shops, bars and eateries.

Bad check in experience ever
The worst check in experience I had ever. We booked for 5 rooms, arrived at hotel 4.40pm, no room available to check in... 2 room we get it after 45min, 3rd room which is mine got it at 5.45pm and 2 other rooms only get it by 6.30pm. Bad front desk service included the manager in charge, no apologise and can't commit what time we can get the room when we asked and leave us wait without serving any drinks. The hotel is new, bed are comfortable. But water heater not working well in some of our room. I hope you can improve your customer service and I will definitely give a try next time, hope you won't disappoint me.
