"This house is a bit hard to find on Google maps, and sits exactly along the shores next to other beach properties. It's is best to Google 小浜理容店 barber shop (179, 179 Nesakicho, Hakodate, Hokkaido 042-0924, Japan) next door because the address given on the website doesn't register with the taxi services. "Hotel itself was amazing but the surrounding area is not. Limited dining options in the area. Breakfast buffet was great! I loved our room with the private Onsen and its traditional tatami setting. The Onsen facing the ocean was calming. Highly recommended and I would come back to this hotel. Staff was very friendly, respectable and accommodating ! "

"It’s a old ryokan passed it prime time. It’s basically not bad, but is old and run down. Maybe the Covid period made it worse as the condition of the ryokan deteriorated further without upgrades. Service is good. Far away from city center but there’s shuttle bus."

"Our stay here was very comfortable! Parking was easy and inexpensive (500yen). The front desk had a map that clearly outlined the various small lots and which one they wanted us to use. The complimentary breakfast was yummy and had a nice mix of Japanese and western options. Its proximity to Hakodate airport was nice. The room was small but adequte. We’d definitely stay again!"
