"The hotel was near, within walking distance from the main train station. Check in was easy. I had the cabin room which actually is a compact small room, big & comfy enough for a solo traveller like me. Sliding doors with strong magnets to lock your door. But visitors for this floor need to be extra careful when moving around in the cubicle and managing the door. Once you step out of your room the pathway will light up & switch off about a minute. Nearby there are 2 (or 3?) toilets with a separate shower. Good enough for the price & distance from Hiroshima Station."

"The reception is on the 14th floor. Staff are mixed with some very friendly and some indifferent and shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The cleanliness is fine although far too much bleach is used the problem is with state of the bedrooms with numerous (too many to count) stains on carpets and headboards. It’s quite frankly appalling for any hotel but especially one purporting to be of 4 stars. N.B. we’re not blaming the cleaners here but questioning the managements inability to check rooms. The team and hotel lack generosity and penny pinch at every opportunity. You are given a drinks voucher at check - please note this is for a half a small beer or a half measure 75ml of wine in a plastic cup. N.B. The hotel charges for changing of sheets. We also noted that the restaurant is doesn’t accept bookings for dinner but when you turn up all the tables/slots have been reserved. The standard of bathrooms and and bedding was average. Without question the worst hotel we’ve been too in years and certainly the worst in Japan. "

"I would recommend, and I would stay here again. The staff were excellent. Location is far from the train 25 minute walk, but central to everything else. The breakfast is excellent. To our surprise they had happy hour at 5:00 free drinks and light snacks. The room was a good size."
