Was told by the receptionist that the property was fully booked despite me getting a confirmation on Expedia. Was offered to have my booking cancelled on the property owner end and they will initiate a refund process. However, it seems like it is unlikely to come by easily

Dear customers (QKH), SAKI would like to thank QKH for trusting to use the accommodation service at SAKI, SAKI is sorry to bring a bad experience to QKH, the room next to SAKI has just built a very new year. , nice and clean, in terms of telephone exchanges, SAKI currently only has 1 customer service number and is often in a state of answering the phone and not able to answer your phone all the time, so SAKI took the initiative to contact and exchange Change via message, hope QKH understands. SAKI is still constantly improving to bring the best service to QKH. Thank you SAKI!

Don't stay here, much better choices out there.
I usually use the same settings for the search filter and end up with great choices no matter where I go. This was one of the rare times I booked too quickly and made a mistake. Only two previous reviews, both 10's, but seeing as how this was the 4th iteration of this Aparthotel, I assumed they must be doing well and had just opened a new one (pictures all looked new). I was very wrong. Nobody was available for check-in, and upon calling the contact number at the front desk, I was told to whatsapp my info to them. No discussion, just broken requests for a passport scan and proof of booking. If you didn't have a SIM to call them or WhatsApp set up, you would be screwed. It took about half an hour to sort things out and she sent me a pic of a swipe card that looked like it was in a front desk drawer. A guy came in at the same time and started moving some stuff around behind the counter. I showed him the pic and asked if he could get me the card. He did and I went to the room. The room itself would have been nice when new. However, it was as if your old blind grandmother had done the cleaning. Linens looked fine, but everything else was sub-par. Kitchenette counter was sticky, residue under the amenities basket on the vanity, bathroom cups had residue, microwave had crusty food bits, pans were greasy, etc. And the shower knob had fallen off. I was too tired to go elsewhere that night, so I decided to do a thorough review to deal with this nonsense.
