"The place looked different than that which was advertised. We left 2 hrs after checking in to a hotel because the space felt dirty and people were apprehensive about showering and sleeping there. A bit out of the way but for the money paid for it I expected just a bit more. The door lock to our door was also falling off so not the safest feeling. It was also freezing."

"The room was nice. The stairs up to the 2nd and 3rd floors are tight, taking suitcases up and down them feels precarious given how narrow the staircase is and how small some of the steps are. Be aware that the property is very close to a highway, so the noises from it are audible all through the night. Host was very responsive and made check in and check out very easy."

"Overall the listing was not what we had expected. The address was not accurate and led us to a completely different block. We only received 1 towel for 2 nights for each person, we requested more but did not get an answer from the host. The area was good though, located close to the station and convenience stores. The washroom was really tight and there was leakage in the pipes. Cleanliness was not the best. Our neighbours were great though!"

"Two supermarkets nearby (summit store, opens until 00:00, and seiyu, opens 24h). convenient to walk from sugamo station. various kinds of dining places nearby. laundry machine in room with detergent and hangers provided. if you found no more spare recycle trash bags, please contact the host they will perform prompted actions. "Perfectly located for exploring the city and sights. Generally clean and tidy with plenty of space. Very comfortable beds and well payed out. Sofa needs replacing as very uncomfortable, under the beds could do with a clean. Located next to a railway line which trains run very frequently, above a Karaoke bar which does go on until 03:00. But you do get used to it. "
