"The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of all of the old City's attractions - Blue Mosque, Aghia Sophia, Grand Bazaar to name a few. All of the staff we met were very helpful and most welcoming. We ate twice at the Hotel restaurant. The old city views are incredible, the food (residents get 20% off) was fantastic, as was our waiter Ali, who went out of his way to make sure we had a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend the Chicken in almond sauce! "

"We had a long layover in Istanbul and it was fabulous to be able to stay in a little room with a bed, bathroom and shower rather than sitting at the gate. And we didn’t have to go through security again, which was even better. Very sweet lady showed us to our room and gave us slippers. Highly recommend."

"Had a great stay at Marmara Pera Hotel. The place was clean, well-maintained, and the breakfast had plenty of good options. Staff were kind and responsive—we even got a free upgrade to the top floor with an amazing view. Only downside was the language barrier, as few staff spoke English, but overall a great experience."

The bed was very comfortable and despite the mosques and traffic in the area, our room was very soundproof! "
