"A nice friendly hostel with great staff. The hostel, rooms, common areas and bathrooms are clean. The bathroom is basic, but functional. There's a mosquito problem indoor, like much of Mumbai. It doesn't help that the doors to the room have holes drilled into them for ventilation. Lots of mosquitos in my room so bring insect repellent. Location is far from the main sights, so expect to use taxis a lot."

"I booked a room for 3769.92 INR but on checking in was charged 5152 INR. I realized I had been overcharged when I was checking out. They told me to take it up with Expedia, so I did. Expedia said they had worked it out with the hotel and would process a refund. Later, however, Expedia sent an email saying that the hotel said I had upgraded my room and so they would not honor the price I booked for. Someone is lying. I don't know if Bed & Chai upgraded my room, but I certainly did not request an...
