"The pool side staff was excellent setting us up with cabanas and offering drinks. Two of the three specialty dining options required you to leave site to get to. We stayed at this same resort many years ago when it was under a different name and included kids. So glad they changed to adult’s only. The beach area was unfortunately inundated with the rotten smelling seaweed infestation affecting all the resorts at the moment."

"Excellent facilities and the staff was great. The food was also surprisingly good for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the many pools and several of the regional restaurants. The only disappointment was the beach, which had massive amounts of seaweed. Unfortunately, we were here at one of the worst times for seaweed. "

"We enjoyed our visit. Beautiful property. The restaurants are all just so-so and not many choices. Most of the staff were very accommodating and awesome to work with. A few had very bad attitudes for some reason. Definitely need more food options and higher quality of food. Not everything is included in the "all-inclusive" which we were unaware of. Maybe not worth it."

"My husband and I came for a kid free relaxing vacation and the Unico 2087 did not disappoint. We got a swim out room behind one of the main pools and it was a prime location. Not super private if that’s what you are looking for. But we loved the location. The pool waiter would come by and get us drinks and food. We especially love Daniel and Saul made the best drinks. We would enjoy the main pools in the morning and head to our room pool in the afternoon. We were close enough to the main pool we could still enjoy the music. One of my favorite parts of the day was the crafts the resort put on daily. We painted sunsets and did some bead work. It was lots of fun and gave us neat souvenirs. As for the food it was some of the best food we have ever had on vacation. We tried every restaurant but our two favorites were the Mexican restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. Overall if you are looking for an adults only relaxing vacation we great food this is the resort for you. "
