The staff at this hotel were nice and helped me arrange a private van to the airport for 1000 baht. The area is great, right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants, shops, and salons too. But the room itself seemed very out dated with old furniture and not very clean. The towels were also a bit old and falling apart. The toiletries were also not very nice, bring your own. I think the rooms could be improved a lot, but it's mainly good for the location.

Brilliant!
Great hotel. Staff were very helpful and the service was fantastic. Really good breakfast and view. Spacious room and bathroom with the latter having a gravity defying shower curtain pole! Fixtures and fittings are a bit dated but, overall, excellent. Will use again.

Value for money - Good. Pool - Good. Spa - Being rebuilt, should be back in action now. Room - OK. Well serviced. People - Marvelous. Food - Quite good.

Good but for internet situation
Big rooms but tired decor. Good AC, nice staff, good pool situation, decent bteakfast. Quiet location but near lots of nightlife, just across the street from the beach. BUT terrible Internet service.

Good location in Karon Beach that is walkable to several restaurants in the area. The hotel was rather ordinary but decent value for money. Rooms were clean, but bed was not very comfortable.

Short stay but nice. Hotel staff could understand English and were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good and fresh. Beach was across the street.

Great hotel in a beautiful area of Phuket
This hotel is in a great location – directly across the street from Karon Beach, easy access to restaurants, massages and mani/pedi’s and a short drive to Chalong Pier for boat rides to Phi Phi island. We stayed at many hotels during our two-week adventure in Thailand and Cambodia and this was the nicest hotel by far. Being upgraded to a superior room with a view didn’t hurt either! The hotel is across the road from the beautiful Karon Beach, has many restaurants within a short walking distance, a couple of massage and mani/pedi businesses around the corner and is a short drive to Chalong Pier to catch the boats to Phi Phi island. The internet is not the best – even in the lobby. We ended up using their computers if we really had to have an internet connection. Whenever you leave the hotel, they want you to give them your room key. Not sure why – probably so you don’t lose it 

Average, aging hotel, staff not terribly interested in their guests. We were on the ground floor and the access way to the rear if the property was very busy and noisy with staff arriving and leaving. Not much regard for guests. Good access to beach,shopping and restuarants

I did enjoy my visit to Karon Princess Hotel very clean and comfortable. The staff well they had no interest at all in the guests the only staff that acknowledged me was the great housekeepers who did a great job of cleaning. When going up to the reception you got the feeling that you were interrupting them not friendly not even a hello.

Checkin was fine we had to change rooms which was no problem as it was low season. Room was good large and well equipped. Small shower but lots of pressure. They were starting to do repairs and painting the buildings because it was low season. Hope they do the pool area as it was very bad. The chairs were broken the covers were dirty and torn. We paid for a breakfast package, don't bother you can get much better quality food off site made to order for the same $2.00 to $2.50. The staff seemed more interested in their phones than the clients. We booked this hotel because the mattresses were rated well by another client. They are bit softer than other places in Asia. We stayed in 8 different beds and it was the best. Don't get me wrong it was still hard just better! If you don't want glamour this hotel is fine as a base.

Hotel room nice and clean plenty of room for all your clothing excetra. Tea and making in room ok but hot water boiler a bit gungy lucky we have our own kettle. Breakfast average sloppy waitress. Overall the stay was good value for money.

Huge bed, powerfull A/C, Housekeeper's good job, nice and relaxing balcony, the swimming pools, good breakfast Absolutelly everything near, beach (10 meters), shops, street food, restaurant, plus an excelent good quality cheap suit taylor near mini market.

Karon is princess of Phuket
Karon Beach is a perfect place for couples and families. Beach from hotel is at arms length. Clean and beautiful beach. Away from hustle bustle of city. Peaceful and a most romantic place in Phuket. Evening walks along the sea was an experience to remember.

Don't enjoy the stays, they make two single beds into one double bed but the set up is akward with reading light in the middle.

Great location, across road from beach, town close
6 nights with my beautiful partner, in a room down the back on the 4th floor. Easy check in although bell boy demanded a tip. Good clean room with large balcony overlooking our 2 pools and three other properties pools. Buffet breakfast was good, with egg chef and nice open restaurant. Very happy, although we had little to do with the staff or any other facilities - cheaper and easier in town.

A very nice location and good service.
I researched for many hotels and I ended up booking this hotel after reading my positive reviews. I'm very happy for my decision. A room I stayed was very clean. They offer free breakfast. Hotel staff speak English and are very friendly. Pros:great location, room is clean, quiet, great price. Cons:poor wifi internet access. I highly recommend this hotel. For this price, what this hotel offers is a great deal.

Can't go wrong!!
First of all, thanks to the Hotels.com and community for helping me find this hotel. Karon Princess Hotel is located right in front of Karon Beach, which is very nice beach and way less crowded compared to other beach area such as Paton Beach. Hotel staff speak English. The room I stayed is "Deluxe" room. Room/Bathroom/Floor/Bed are all clean. They offer free breakfast. This hotel has a nice restaurant as well. Free wifi connection is not that great, but this didn't bother me because I wanted to stay away from internet world. Sure, this hotel is not a fancy hotel that you would stay for your honeymoon, but for the price, can't go wrong! I will plan to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Thailand again!!

It started when I landed in Phuket I was spose to be picked up by the hotel shuttle bus but waited for ages for it to come finally I decided to get another bus and paid money to go with them but then the original bus turned up and asked me to get off the bus id just paid for and go with them so wasted money. got to hotel and they wanted 1200 baht for my bus trip I said no way because when I booked the hotel they quoted me 200 baht for the trip so overall I had to pay 800 baht for my trip. the food at breakfast was crap and when I left to checkout they charged me for a call to reception. I wouldn't recommend this place to a cat.

We are a couple from Denmark. Karon Princess Hotel is so wonderful. All the staff are so helpful. They are so sweet, they smile and wave when we walk by the reception, and they make us feel at home. We can be ourselves. We have stayed in Karon Princess Hotel 2 times, 3 to 4 weeks at a time. The atmosphere and the staff is very calm and relaxed. We are looking forward to stay in Karon Princess Hotel every year we are on vacation in Thailand.

Отдыхали с семьей с начала мая по июнь. У нас Маленький ребёнок 2 года для меня было важно, чтобы в номере было чисто, с этим отель справился очень хорошо: убирали каждый день, полотенца, мыльные принадлежности, 2 бутылки воды. Были во втором корпусе, номер находился в тени (в номере было не жарко), вид на бассейн соседнего отеля( сначала подумала что наш)). В номере софа, большая кровать , плоский телевизор, холодильник, тапочки, фен, сейф, зонт, ванна, душевая кабина. Завтраки для отеля 3* стандартные: омлет, глазунья, сосиски, бекон, суп, рис, хлеб, хлопья, сок, фрукты, йогурт,джем стандартно каждый день. Дополнительно каждый день меняют курицу, картофель, лапшу, мясные котлетки. Ресторан соответсвует отелю 3* не стоит ожидать чего- то изысканного, но для завтрака я считаю достаточно. Самое главное преимущество- пляж через дорогу, рядом много кафе. Нам очень понравилось.

Hadde greit rom med litt havutsikt å rett ved resepsjonen.renholdet kunne vært bedre i krinker å kroker,men rene håndklær inkl strandhåndkle hver dag.bassenget var ikke så stort men helt greit,mår stranda ligger rett over veien.
