"I arrived around midnight and was greeted with good cheer, informed about the lobby coffee, area restaurants, bikes, and rooftop. My room was comfortable and clean and the wifi worked well. I liked having a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and tea/coffee in the room as well as basic tableware like mugs and a sink--all in a small compact space. I appreciated the Expedia VIP upgrade. This was a convenient spot to stay-I had about a 15 minute walk to my conference hotel. Third st north of the hotel is suffering from the 'buses only' traffic flow. It's looking pretty barren. But Second street a block away is lovely and hosts interesting restaurants and lively night life. There's a breakfast spot next door with a discount for hotel guests which I didn't try. Next time! I would definitely stay there again."

"The only thing I didn’t like was the check in coz we arrived early around 11:30am so we left our luggage & requested for our rooms to be close to each other. However when we came back to check in one room is still dirty & this is around 6:40-7 pm. The front desk staff said their short staff do we have yo wait. The check in time is supposed yo be 4:00 pm. We waited patiently but I think that needs to be improved. We’re so tired that day being the flight started at 6:30 am & we’ve been up the whole day. One staff I remember was nice Jason, the rest on the fromt desk needs to improve their skills in dealing with people. Alittle smile or accomodating gestures like offering water etc."

"When we were there, the hotel was doing some remodeling. So that impacted our stay. Based on the operation of the hotel other than the remodeling, I would think it would be a 5-star experience under normal circumstances."
