"The location is great if you know your way around Addis, some staff members really makes an effort to make your stay pleasant while some are outright rude and hostile. I was not able to use the GYM area on the weekend as they do not allow customers staying in the hotel to use the facilities on weekends, the lady looking after the facility gave me a very rude speech about the rules being the rules. Overall there are better options for the price and I would not recommend the place."

"Listen. I've always stayed here when i traveled to Addis Ababa. For the last 4yrs. And mainly because of the staff. House cleaning(burtukan), kitchen(Abdul), front desk(asfar). And it is a few others. But as far as the owner or owners of the property. They have done absolutely no upgrades. Even more so, they haven't fixed anything that had has broken or gotten old. From the ceilings in bathrooms, the bathtubs, the handles on the windows, replacing the mattresses, installing better light bulbs,...

"Perfekt zum Ankommen. Lage: Mit Hotelshuttle max.

Hilton Addis Ababa

8/10 Good

I like the Hilton - it has a kind of old-fashioned charm and style (which for me is a good thing in a world of bland and same-same-same international hotel chains), but still has everything you need in order to be comfortable. This is the second time I've stayed, having visited Addis more than 10 times, and is definitely my hotel of choice.
