"Good"

"We loved our stay at this hotel. We got a free upgrade to a room with a queen sized bed, which was great since we stayed in Kyoto for five days so having more space made our stay much more comfortable. We also loved that we were less than a 15 minute walk to the downtown shopping area (i.e., Nishiki market, great restaurants, etc.). We had a bus line and a subway station close by, so it was easy to get around Kyoto from the hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. Out of all the budget...

"This hotel is well located, about 10 minutes away from Nishiki market and close to the main shopping strip and transport (bus and train). Check in is via a machine. Has coin laundry (300 yen, includes detergent) and dryer was 100 yen for 30 minutes. Breakfast was great. Simple, wide range of options and delicious. Staff were very helpful."
